Matt Chandler is a documentary photographer based in Boise, Idaho. His work focuses on the American West - its infrastructure, its solitude, the quiet evidence of lives lived in real places.

He approaches photography as an act of witness rather than possession: images made to transmit experience, not to own a moment. His practice is analog-influenced, minimally processed, and made without artificial intervention - primarily digital, with medium format or 35mm film for the slowest and most intentional work.

Previously published in automotive editorial media, Chandler is currently developing a long-term documentary project rooted in Idaho and the Interior West. He is available for editorial and commercial assignments across the region.
